In the previous lesson, we learned how to use ‘is’ to tell about a profession.
In this lesson, we shall learn the use of ‘is’ in a negative sentence about a profession.

Formation of a negative sentence about the profession

As this sentence is negative, we must use the negation word.

So, we use ‘not’ with ‘is’.

The formation of a sentence is as follows:

  • Subject (he/she/it/any third person, singular number noun) + is + not + other words + full stop (.).
