Use of 'that' to form a negative sentence

The formation of this sentence is as follows;

  • That + is not + other words. (the rest of the words)

Examples

Pointing to the object far from us, we can say negative sentences-

  1. That is not a notebook.
  2. That is not a car.
  3. That is not a table.
  4. That is not fair.
  5. She didn't observe that place carefully.
  6. That is not an expensive painting.
  7. That is not a bright colour.
  8. That is not mine.
  9. That is not yours.
  10. That is not used before.
  11. That is not a charitable trust.
  12. That glass is not occupied by the air.
  13. That painting is not hung on a wall.
  14. That is not a precious stone.
