In this lesson, we will explain how to use ‘has’ to describe the incompletion of action in the present.

Formation of a negative sentence using ‘has’

In these sentences, ‘has’ is used as an auxiliary verb.

We shall see how to form a negative sentence to explain the incomplete action.

In this sentence, we use ‘has’ with ‘not’ to show the negation.

In this lesson, we shall see how to form a sentence with ‘has not’.

Formation of a sentence using ‘has not

We shall see how to form a negative sentence to explain the completed action.

The formation of a negative sentence in the present tense is as follows:

  • Subject (he/she/it/any singular noun) + has not + past participle of the main verb + other words + full stop (.)

We can use:

  • hasn’t for has not

in brief.

  21. A singer has not sung this song so beautifully.
  22. He has not bought a new car for his sister on her birthday.
  23. A courier boy has not delivered my documents in a plastic pouch.
  24. He has not washed his hands and face before dinner.
  25. A lotus flower has not bloomed in the pond.
  26. She has not completed her interior assignment in four hours.
  27. He has not received an expensive wristwatch as a gift on his birthday.
  28. The banana has not turned brown.
  29. A student has not answered thirty difficult questions correctly.
  30. He has not expanded his company’s operations this year.
