Dialogue writing  

Dialogue means a conversation between two people. This is very necessary for Indian students to gain a command to speak English fluently.
There is a question to write a dialogue between two people in your exam. It has 5 marks- 4 for writing and 1 for grammar.
You may be given guidelines. Careful preparation and practice is very necessary to attempt this question successfully.
For this, follow the given points below.
  1. Think carefully over the subject which is given to write.
  2. Arrange your ideas in order so that reader should feel actual conversation.
  3. Imagine and write dialogue as if you are the same person. You should have clear idea about the characters.
  4. When completed, it should be read like a real conversation.
 
Example- Write a dialogue between Sameer and his mother about career.
