We shall answer in a complete sentence as well as in brief.

Formation of a negative answer

In this formation, we use ‘not’ with ‘was’.

So, the formation of a negative answer is as follows:

  • No, + subject (I/he/she/it/singular noun) + was not + other words + full stop (.).

In brief, we can answer as follows:

  • No, + subject + wasn’t.
  • No, he wasn’t.
  • No, she wasn’t.
