Alphabetical order

We always use order to write a list. Alphabet starts from a and ends in z. We always write alphabet in order and that way of writing alphabet in order is called ‘alphabetical order’. We use alphabetical order to write a list.

For example- We have to write names of some fruits in alphabetical order then we can write the list as;

  • Apple
  • Banana
  • Custard apple
  • Grapes
  • Oranges

In above list, we started from apple that is a fruit starting from letter- a and then b, c, g and o in order. But if more than one word start with letter B, we put them in order based on the second letter and so on. We also continue order for words starting from letter G. For example-

  • Banana
  • Blackberry
  • Gooseberries
  • Grapes
  • Guava

Font

There are different styles to write these symbols. Each style used to represent language is called a font. We can write capital as well as small letters in cursive style also.
